Menu Plan Monday: Menu for Week of 10/12/15

This is one of those, "Hey I'm busy later in the week and also getting over a cold that is wholloping me with fatigue" types of weeks. 

So, how did I tackle this?  Heh.  I kind of threw a bunch of chicken into the crock pot this morning with some basic seasonings and I went back to bed for most of the day until it was time to go and pick up my kids from school.  And I wish I was joking there.

Basically this is going to be a week with a lot of chicken in the menu, but I'm not planning on it being boring!

Menu Plan for Week of 10/12/15
Monday:  Crock pot chicken, garlic toast, canned peaches

Tuesday:  Chicken salad sandwiches, potato chips

Wednesday:  Pork steaks, potato salad, baked beans

Thursday:  Cheesy Chicken Casserole (use last of crock pot chicken)

Friday:  Turkey Burgers with Spiced Cranberry Sauce, leftover potato salad and baked beans.

Saturday:  Yankee style pot roast with roasted root vegetables

Sunday:  Noodle Bowl Night (tear up any leftover turkey burgers into bite sized pieces to use as "meatballs" in pasta).
 To Bake:  Blueberry muffins, sweet rolls, oatmeal (for breakfasts later in the week).  Baking day:  Tuesday.

Desserts:  Apple crisp, custard.
